- Nothing. All spots are visible to everyone — now and later. An optional Pirates+ subscription for comfort features like offline maps is planned; access to spots stays free.
- Where do the spots come from?
- Exclusively from the community and open data (OpenStreetMap). We do not take data from other platforms.
- How do I add a spot?
- Create an account, confirm your email, hit Add spot: drop the pin, six short steps, done. Under two minutes including a photo.
- What does the freshness badge mean?
- It shows when a spot was last confirmed: green under 3 months, neutral up to 12, faded after. Every rating, comment and confirmation refreshes it.
- What happens to my photos' GPS data?
- It never leaves your device: GPS and camera metadata are removed in the browser before upload.
- Can I delete my account?
- Yes, in settings — with a data export beforehand. Your identity is anonymised; spots and comments remain available to the community anonymously.
